Collection: Eastern Sunrises w/ Between East

The concept was born from the idea that the sun rises in the East (the part of the world we come from) and it sets in the West (the part of the world where we now live). We thought deeper about this. The East lights up the world, yet in the West we’re seen as darkness. We’ve been told it our whole lives. Sometimes to the point of almost believing it. And then we realized, the light has always been within us.

This collaboration symbolizes the beauty of our homelands, our culture, our language, our names, our food, and everything that exists inside of us. Just as the sun rises from the East, the world rises with it. These pieces showcase the East as a source of light, knowledge, and life.
